Frankfurt an der Oder or as it is now officially named Frankfurt (Oder) is a town located in Brandenburg on the German-Polish border. Frankfurt an der Oder has the population of about 60,000 people and stands just opposite the Polish town of Slubice that was an integral part of Frankfurt until the end of the Second World War.
